bearing gifts we traverse afar,
field and fountain, moor and mountain,
following yonder star.

O star of wonder, star of light,
star with royal beauty bright,
westward leading, still proceeding,
guide us to thy perfect light.
2 Born a King on Bethlehem's plain,
gold I bring to crown him again,
King forever, ceasing never,
over us all to reign. [Refrain]
3 Frankincense to offer have I;
incense owns a Deity nigh;
prayer and praising, voices raising,
worshiping God on high. [Refrain]
4 Myrrh is mine; its bitter perfume
breathes a life of gathering gloom;
sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,
sealed in the stone-cold tomb. [Refrain]
5 Glorious now behold him arise;
King and God and sacrifice:

ഞങ്ങൾ മൂന്ന് പൗരസ്ത്യ രാജാക്കന്മാരാണ്;
സമ്മാനങ്ങളുമായി ഞങ്ങൾ ദൂരെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു,
വയലും ഉറവയും, മേടും മലയും,
നക്ഷത്രത്തെ പിന്തുടരുന്നു.
പിന്തിരിപ്പിക്കുക:

ഓ അത്ഭുത നക്ഷത്രമേ, പ്രകാശത്തിന്റെ നക്ഷത്രമേ,
ശോഭയുള്ള രാജകീയ സൗന്ദര്യമുള്ള നക്ഷത്രം,
പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ട് നയിക്കുന്നു, ഇപ്പോഴും തുടരുന്നു
നിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണമായ വെളിച്ചത്തിലേക്ക് ഞങ്ങളെ നയിക്കേണമേ.

2 ബെത്‌ലഹേമിലെ സമതലത്തിൽ രാജാവായി ജനിച്ചു.
അവനെ വീണ്ടും കിരീടമണിയിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ സ്വർണ്ണം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു,
എന്നേക്കും രാജാവ്, ഒരിക്കലും അവസാനിക്കുന്നില്ല,
നമുക്കെല്ലാം ഭരിക്കാൻ. [പല്ലുക]

3 കുന്തുരുക്കം എന്റെ പക്കലുണ്ട്;
ധൂപവർഗ്ഗത്തിന് അടുത്തൊരു ദേവതയുണ്ട്;
പ്രാർത്ഥനയും സ്തുതിയും, ശബ്ദങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തുന്നു,
ഉയരത്തിൽ ദൈവത്തെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. [പല്ലുക]

4 മൈലാഞ്ചി എന്റേത്; അതിന്റെ കയ്പേറിയ സുഗന്ധം
കൂരിരുട്ടിന്റെ ജീവിതം ശ്വസിക്കുന്നു;
ദുഃഖം, നെടുവീർപ്പ്, രക്തസ്രാവം, മരിക്കൽ,
കല്ല്-തണുത്ത ശവകുടീരത്തിൽ അടച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. [പല്ലുക]

5 മഹത്വമുള്ളവൻ ഇതാ, അവൻ എഴുന്നേൽക്കുന്നു;
രാജാവും ദൈവവും ത്യാഗവും:
അല്ലേലൂയ, അല്ലെലൂയ,
ഭൂമിയിലൂടെയും ആകാശത്തിലൂടെയും മുഴങ്ങുന്നു.
