We can take out the common factor 100^3 out of the summ and get:

I see no necessity for more tricks, since that calclation is easy enough for me to do it in my head without the need of using paper or an electronic calculator.

Where is the trick? I only see a laborious calculation!

What an unnecessarily long winded way of working out something that can be done in your head in less than 10 seconds. strip out the 2 trailing zero's then it becomes 6^3 - 5^3 followed by 6 zero's. 3^3 is easy (216). 5^3 is even easier (125). mentally subtract 125 from 316 = 91 then add on the 6 trailing zero's. This is basic elementary maths for those of us who learned the basics before Calculators came into common use.

A beautiful Olympiads Exponential Trick: 600³ – 500³ =?
600³ – 500³ = (6³)(100³) – (5³)(100³) = (6³ – 5³)(100³) = (6³ – 5³)(10⁶)
6³ – 5³ = (6 – 5)[(6 – 5)² + 3(6)(5)] = 91, 600³ – 500³ = 91(10⁶) =

100³(6³ - 5³) = 100³ * 91 =
= 91 * = 91, 000, 000

What was the "challange" ? 🤪
