Part 1| Free Hugs in Amsterdam: Blind Trust Experiment

1 Thessalonians 3:12: "May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else."

It’s my second month here in Holland, I really miss my family and friends in the Philippines, I feel so lonely and tired. So what I did was I went outside just to get some fresh air and thought of doing something different.... but I never expected this one. 😭

You never truly know what someone else is going through. As they were giving me hugs, I realized, I was not the only one who needs it. All of us needs love.
And you never know what a single hug can do to a person.

While whispering to them: “You are loved.”
“Jesus loves you.” “You are enough.”
Some of them were really crying.
They were telling me,
“Thank you for doing this.”
“This is so cool.”
“I desperately need a hug right now. (Crying)”
“You don’t know me and I don’t know you, but I am so happy because you are doing this. God bless you.”
“You are not alone, girl.”
“I love you. And thank you.”
“I know you are a Filipino, I don’t know why you are doing this but I thank God for your life.(crying)”
“You are loved.”
“You are so sweet. Thank you for this.”
“The world needs someone like you.”
“I am from Italy, and I never expected to receive a hug from you here in Amsterdam. Thank you. Much love.”
“I am from Israel, the world need this. And I will forever be grateful to God for your life. God bless you and thank you for this love.”

As what God says in 1 Corinthians 16:14,
“Do everything in love.”
In John 15:12, God says, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." ❤️
Let’s spread the love and give love.
