Shit. I didn't even notice that it's trans girl. Children won't notice it too. And even if they notice they will not give a fuck about it

First of all, this is not a kid's movie. The trans character didn't bother me that much but thinking about it, it's a genius nod to the audiences of this film. If you think the LGBTQIA people don't love Barbie, you've missed the bus. There was an inclusive theme throughout but it wasn't annoying. I think the trans barbie fit well in this universe and was very feminine looking. There were different kinds of women in the movie theatre this afternoon, all having fun with the pink, etc.. and as a 56 year old catholic woman, I got a kick out of hearing where the younger women laughed and/or were mortified. I'll give this trans character a pass. The less we make a fuss about it, the less the impact. A well raised child who is secure in their family and faith will ask questions and get answers, hopefully Catholic ones. But that's my view. Others have a right to make choices and come to the truth on their own.

the barbie movie never even mentioned that she is transgender, and honestly I wasn't even aware she was until I saw all the outrage. No child is going to have an absolute mental crisis about a transgender barbie for multiple reasons
1. The movie is PG13, if you show your children, that's on you.
2. The fact she is transgender is never even mentioned
3. She is a background character with about maybe two minutes of screentime.
4. She passes extremely well, most people didn't even know she's transgender.
5. Unlike adults, children don't maliciously seek out people from certain minorities in order to cause huge problems out of small things.
The only people who are harming children are the ones who actively enforce hate into their lives. Times have changed, people are more comfortable with their identities now. A child experimenting with their gender harms no one, if anything, it gives them a chance to learn about themselves. Doctor Barbie is an amazing girl just like all the other barbies. Hari Nef is not in the wrong for simply existing as a woman and playing roles given to her. You people are so sensitive it's actually agonizing. Seek help.

The only reason people would be thinking about it cause yall keep talking about making it a problem when its not. They are not super going out of there way for some big political agenda. The real message that they are slightly hinting at is dont feel ashamed for who you are every human being deserves respect and should be treated equal have same rights as everyone else. Its a great message that states dont hate on people its ugly its evil and messed up to hate people thats how violence starts.

The thing is, no one *needed* to know this. Anyone who watches the movie would have no idea. The only reason they did this was because they WANTED to tell everyone they have this person in this movie to flaunt their ESG rating and preemptively stonewall any criticism the movie gets for being bad.
