Im just gonna put this here.

Under CA law, if you go to the ER and say you feel sick and you were at a club. They will do the necessary tests to check if you were drugged.

From there it is up to you to choose to send it to the PD to have it investigated. Its zero charge because at this point a potential crime has been comitted.

So please if you do feel sick, do not have insurance...just go. Most of those types od drugs are laced with other drugs. So its best to be in the hands of a healthcare provider that can give you necessary aid.

So sad this happened to so many people at a private, invitation only party.

It’s so weird how twitch seems to have such a profound hatred towards vtubers, every single level of that company seems to work against them. The list of things they do to vtubers and not fleshtubers is so long that if i wrote it all down it could count as an essay.

"I have been roofied before" is such a sad statement.

The girls weren't even threatening to sue (even though that's possibly an option) but Blerpy is acting like they're on the stand. Just admit you f-ed up and promise to do better next time, and if you don't, expect the torches and pitchforks.

Bros and gentleladies.

Rule No. 1 of going out anywhere regardless of gender: BUDDY SYSTEM! Always go out with someone, always be in a group or a crowd you know.
Rule No. 2 of going out anywhere regardless of gender: If your drink is out of your vision for more than a few seconds, throw it. Don't matter if someone was watching it, and don't let anyone order for you without you staring the drink down.
Rule No. 3 of going out anywhere regardless of gender: If at any point you feel weird, whether it's bad juju or physical symptoms tell your buddy and leave.
Rule No. 4 of going out anywhere regardless of gender: Always try to have a designated sober person with you if possible! You don't want cabs, you don't want Ubers, SOBER friends drive you home!

Doesn't matter how big and strong you are or how experienced or what you identify as, the most appropriate time to be paranoid is at ANY kind of party.
At the end of the day the only person watching you and your friends is you and your friends, and sometimes not even that.
Stay safe out there. I hope the girls recover fully and this wasn't too scarring an experience.

Pro tip, if you leave your drink and came back to it. Order another drink. Just order it. Be safe too

Techbros being irresponsible and causing problems, who would've thought.

So the scary thing is that the party didnt need to be crashed by people. It could've easily been done by someone that was actually on the guest list

A lot of vtubers become vtubers to avoid dangers of crazy fans and the like, but party culture like this poses its own dangers too. At least it sounds like they loosely followed a buddy system that got them out with no lasting injury.

3:18 I wouldn't be so sure that whoever did this was an outsider that snuck in.... you only know these people from the internet after all, you don't really know them.

It's messed up that people would even think to do that to another person. I will never understand it.

This years twithcon was horrifying.
the goodie bags were mediocare, plastic everything, very cheap and easily breakable. Several parties where creators were drugged. Creators being sexually harassed, some even while LIVE.
Streamers from other platforms harassing twitch streamers and not facing consequences.
Idk where the budget went to this year, but it was clearly not into security or the goodie bags.
People have to pay a good amount of money to attend this and for them to not even feel SAFE is bs.

"oh yeah, drink cover we have those but cant give them out"

thats a huge red flag next to a bunch of random people coming in

Blerpy's response feels so weird. Like, all of it feels like "Um, actually, " to every reasonable point brought up.

Edit: "The fire marshal showed up for overcrowding, " HOLD UP! So, Blerpy said they had a 350 capacity limit but they only had 325, but the fire marshal showed up for overcrowding? So which is it? Or is this in reference to the prior event?

vtubers get so much hate from normies for... just having an illustration instead of their face on stream. whenever a vtuber gets mega popular there's always idiots ready to tear them down for... having a png/avatar.
it's very sad, not for the vtuber, but for the hater.

2:52 "Very thankful that everyone who did get roofied-" Is a WILD string of words, even if it ends with "- was safe". To think that enough people were targeted for a body invasion that you have to use an indefinite pronoun is nothing short of revolting.

Ironmouse "Would you still love me if I was a worm?"
Everyone but youtube "Oh yes, absolutely! You're the cutest worm! We love you so much!"
youtube "stinkin' worm"

As an AX attendee, I learned to never trust people I don't know even if they look unassuming. Too much trouble. It's terrible to be roofied and drugged. Conventions and crowds means terrible people will gather too, not just good people.
