In this video, we'll show how to extend and use the Serializer class in Django REST Framework (not the ModelSerializer). This allows us to compose any data - not necessarily tied to a single model - and serialize that data for our API responses.

Hi! In the product_info view, could you use count = Product.objects.count() instead of getting the length of the queryset? Does it perform similarly? Just curious!

I have been trying Claude ai these last few days and I am very impressed by the quality of the code it generates.

Do you think we will still need to code in the future.

I believe that we need either to become an expert in databases and app flow design, or UI front end.

Between these two parts, the AI is doing a great job.

What do you think please ?

nice, it is better to use Aggregated data in the class model as @property function .
