Celtic Worship is an organic cultural expression of sung worship in Scotland today; an expression which follows in the footsteps of what has taken place in Scotland for centuries. Comprised of some of the most interesting and innovative musicians in Scotland’s flourishing contemporary music scene, the band is driven by a sincere desire to use their skills, giftings and various abilities to praise and make known Jesus Christ. Together they explore the beautiful timeless truth of psalms and older hymns, whilst contributing original works to the canon of Christian music – all with the instrumentation and musical language of their native Scotland including the powerful sound of bagpipes, whistles and fiddle.

The group was first assembled in late 2016 to prepare for a live worship event held during Glasgow’s famous Celtic Connections festival. Since then, the band has performed in the UK and Europe, has released two studio albums, and continues to accumulate millions of views of their online videos. They have just released their Christmas album – Come Behold: Christmas Collaborations – featuring guest artists such as Ron Block, Norrie MacIver, Unoma Okudo, and Blue Rose Code.

Celtic Worship are: Naomi Stirrat, David Hogg, Mhairi Marwick, Scott Wood, Chris Amer, Gus Stirrat and Ifedade Thomas.

Moving ahead, the band continues to write, perform and, above all, bring praise to the One to whom all praise is due. They invite you to join them.

We could not get pregnant. I fasted for 72 hours and asked for a baby boy. God allow me to get pregnant and i delivered a beautiful baby boy. When he was 6 month old i fasted again for 72 hours so that we could purchase our home, since we were living in a one bedroom apt. I will never forget that I asked him “father, please allow us to purchase our house and if is your will give my my baby daughter.” It has been a year since the second fast and we now have 2 beautiful babies boy and girl and our lovely home. Jesus is mighty and he is coming soon!!

I turned on my Smart TV and saw this video, only 16 minutes old with 92 views. It's excellent; one of Naomi's best performances. It can be hard to get a Christmas album right. If you only do traditional hymns and carols people may think "I 've heard all that before", especially if they have a favourite version of a song already. But if you have too much new stuff, people may be sheepish about trying it. This song is great Mhairi. It's sure to be a new classic sung for years. It already sounds like it's 100 years old. What a wonderful video.

Praying the babies in NICU units who don't have the voices of mommy and daddy they heard for the gestation period only to be hanging on for dear life because of turning out back on The Reason for Every Season where the church has made money it's reason for waking up and kicking the blessing of their children to the curb where the trash is picked up!
