Still one of my all time favorite songs ever! BIG LOVE for deeper styles of electronic music.. A genre that keeps inventing and rediscovering itself over and over again.. Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. 🙏🏼

Lots of good interpretations. Here's another:
The man's wife left him because of his problems (can be emotional, behavioral). He's stuck in the infinite loop where he just can't let her go. Each time the loop repeats as he is coming to realise that it was his problems that caused her to go ("die by his OWN car running her over metaphor"). At the end he waits long enough to see that, and comes to realize how much his problem has f'd his life up. It's all about that moment of epiphany that many need (to become better versions of themselves), but most never get.

You can also flip the story on her. She has done something bad. And he's trying to figure it out, trying to turn the page. But it's getting him worn down, frustrated.

He doesn't care what it is, he just wants her to stop acting weird and to stay:
"Whatever you've done, However bad, Hold on hold on hold on"

The whole video could be about how frustrating it is when someone locks you out, when all you want is to be with them, and you don't care what they've done.

This also fits with his reactions becoming more considerate. He gets closer to the reason why she's acting this way. And at the end, he finally sees why.

Now if you really wanna push it far, you can short circuit both stories. At the end he realizes she's locking him out because of something HE has done. And here comes in the "getting run over by his OWN car".

Only thing I can't figure out is why there is a Porsche parked in a garage with door open, while he drives an old Volvo. Is it because old habits are hard to let go?
