I have my son watching your videos. I just started using him on jobs and I think your videos are a great way for him to learn things on his off time.

Thanks as always. But can we get a review of Wago connectors and whether you tape around duplexes and switches? Thanks again.

i had my first side job today (starting an AV electrical job monday)

Every green apprentice I get I recommend they watch your videos. Back home we have to have 670ish hours of classroom time to get your license. Down here you don’t and I really believe that hurts apprentices, you’re videos really help close that gap in knowledge

Dumb question - but where can you safely use a round cut-in box? I could see maybe a small wall sconce -- but can you really install / hang a light fixture from one? I'd be nervous to ever use for a ceiling fixture -- even a light one -- good chance it could get replaced by something heavier at some point -- and person may not check the box. Are these used for ceiling fixtures at all ?

Is there anything better than a bell box and an in use cover for a face mounted exterior outlet?

We call bell box fs box and use tamper resistant devices

Something about cutin boxes I just don't like. Rewired like 90% of my house, removed the nail on boxes they used as cutin boxes, and just put screws through the side of along with all the old metal boxes with the clamp things. Due to Covid I could only get one screw on the old work box at the bix box store, I tried that box and was a headache to install and get flush, etc. I went to the supply house near me and they had Allied molded SB-1, SB-2, SB-3 series boxes I used those were so much simpler than the Carlon box and seem to be sturdier build too. To me if you can put the thing near a stud then do it and use something like this, my opinion drywall is fairly brittle and weak so I hate using that to mount anything.

Can you explain the scenario where you would use a two gang over a 1900 box. Do you only use a 1900 if you need more cubic inches than a two gang allows?

I'm a huge fan of the newer Arlington adjustable boxes. They are worth every penny

You missed the SWB25.
Raco number but its the pancake box for outlets on a island where the receptacle location is blocked by drawers.

Another great video, so another Like :-)
PS- you should have stated that Romex is the brand name belonging to a company, not merely the name of that conductor configuration (which is a ThermoPlasticSheathed cable).

I've watched several of your videos today and figured I'd ask directly and hope to get lucky with the answer I'm looking for. I need to control a 24v trolling motor using 12v as my contactor power source. I dont suppose you could point me in the right direction for which contactor to buy? Thank you and great videos.
