Back in the early 2000s was football at its peak performance with Ronaldinho, Kaka, Ronaldo Nazario, Seedorf, Ibra, Maldini, Stam, Dida, Gatusso, Nedved, Del Piero, Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose, Podolski and it goes on and on. Alot of quality players who brought us joy on the tv screens and today you can count 10 players who are magnificent the others are average footballers.

Zidane understands positioning, not only his own but also his opponents and team mates positioning... He understands rhytm, timing & ball control... With those skills you can make up for the athletic attributes that dimimish due to age.
Always the smartest player on the field... Unless Materazzi is around.
