Dude I figured that out as 15 year old kid. I knew he went to 24 as a shot at Mike. To put him on notice that 24 is higher than 23 and so was he. At the end of the day as much as I loved Kobe and being a Lakers fan. I knew he wouldn't ever catch Mike or surpass him. MJ is still the GOAT 🐐 but Kobe definitely right behind him.
