One thing I would like to add is that RealSimGear sells other gear to complement their G1000 suite such as autopilots, different audio panels, Garmin control units, avionics, switch panels, and a force feedback yoke. These are nice to have if you are trying to replicate a certain cockpit, such as the Cirrus SR22.

I have two of the G1000 panels, and I can run them with the 172, TBM 930, Kodiak 100 and the Longitude. I have them all configured using AxisAndOhs. They work perfectly. I am sure they work with may more aircraft, those are the only ones I have configured so far, and they are all used with a Stream Deck 15 button. I no longer need the mouse on any of these aircraft.

Highly recommend.

I love my RSG hardware. No hate towards the FlightSimBuilder panels here. More options only helps all of us by making things more affordable. The sim hobby has never seen a better time when it comes to affordable hardware, IMO.

I've owned the RealSimGear for about 3 years now. It's been absolutely fantastic. I enjoy more of the steam gauge cockpit setup I have built with the Saitek gear. Wish I did a little more research before starting because there's is a lot of alternative options I didn't know about when starting thsi project (In my defense, it was never planned. I kind of just happned slowly as I purchased peripherals to a point I realized I had enough to build a small steam gause cockpit). The only issue I have with the pop out screans from MSFS is you loose 10 instantly FPS in DX11. The other is I've noticed on the standard pop out of the GNS530, you get borders on the side which takes up quite a bit of real estate. I have to use panel manager to resize it. It would be great for these developers (or anybody really) to design 3rd party software. That would be amazing!
