The 2016 Breakthrough Prize Symposium was held November 9, 2015 at UC Berkeley and co-hosted by UC San Francisco and Stanford University. The daylong event included talks and panels featuring Breakthrough Prize laureates in Fundamental Physics, Life Sciences and Mathematics, as well as other distinguished guests.

Its nice to see that there are still grand mysteries to be solved, and even some of the best scientist of the day have such diverse and differing views. Thank you Breakthrough Prize.

The idea of ratcheting up our knowledge, on a personal level within a lifespan and generation to generation, through the use of communication and the plasticity of our random, limited brain is fascinating. There is some positive feedback involved. It physically feels good when I learn this many new ideas in such a short time.

if only visionaries could see beyond themselves; the rest of you would have a clear horizon in which to envision what is possible. So many wish to take the credit for what is revealed to us all, gratis, for the betterment of all life. But by all means, lets recognize those that tripped over it before someone else came upon it naturally. Salut!
