When doing abdominal surgery, that requires the intestines to be removed, they are not just put back in. They're removed and placed in a certain orientation noting specific anatomical features. When placed back into the abdomen they follow the previous orientation. Saline is poured into the abdomen, and it's vigorously shaken. This is for flushing and to aid in settling the organs into the available space. Once the doctor is happy with placement, they make sure the greater omentum is pulled over the intestines to cover and protect them. It may require sutures in several places to hold it in the desired location, before closure.

So I went to the hospital for appendicitis they put me under then they started to cut me open and I my appendix bursted so they had to take all my guts and rinse them out from all the poison shoved my guts back in me and so when I woke up I seen bumps all over my stomach and they didn't tell me and I could just see them moving everywhere going back into place honestly creepy 😬😨



Ps : they almost od me on Dilaudid they were supposed to give me one kid size dose and they gave me two adult doses and because I was so sick in the middle of the surgery I caught pneumonia the worst thing you could have with your appendix because when you cough you can cough out your guts but ya wasn't very fun 😁✌

The intestines were placed inside me very carefully like laying chain one foot at a time left to right layer by layer..catefully... then sewed me up. And occasionally I move too sudden and the intestines may get jumbled or knotted...
