🔴 BIG NEWS: AUSTRALIAN VISA & IMMIGRATION CHANGES FROM JANUARY 2022

2021 has been an unusual year due to the effect of COVID-19. Numerous changes transpired in Australian Immigration, from lockdowns to border closures and travel bans.

Amid all the effects of the pandemic, Australian borders ultimately opened on 15 December 2021 for students, workers and graduates.

Australia reopened its border to vaccinated travellers. This decision was a part of their steady and safe reopening to the world. Fully vaccinated visa holders from these groups are now able to journey to Australia without an exemption:

Skilled migrants
International students
Temporary and provisional family visa holders and
Refugee/humanitarian

The reopening was scheduled for 1 December 2021; however, the government paused the decision due to the appearance of the 'Omicron' COVID-19 variant.

As an element of Australia's reopening to fully vaccinated travellers, international safe travel zones were introduced for New Zealand and Singapore. Also, from 15 December 2021, international safe travel zones with Japan and Korea began.

I cannot join the group... Help please. Since I was processing for visa, it was almost done with all the documents required. There was sudden change in the visa applicants for Bhutanese students and my money is wasted. I don't think there is other alternative to get visa without doing TOEFL or IELTS. Who don't appear TOEFL or IELTS, it's better to keep the same rules that says he or she should take 3 months English course in Australia. So sad 😢
