PDF Showing as Chrome

How to Change PDF Icons back to Default Adobe Reader Icon: Stop PDF files display as Chrome Browser.
If PDF icons changed to Chrome icons on your PC. Sometimes PDF file type becomes associated with Chrome file type that's why pdfs opening in chrome or as web page of different browser instead of adobe reader.

Stop PDF files opening in Chrome Browser: This trick helps you to open PDF document in Acrobat Reader/Adobe Reader instead of opening in any Web Browser like Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Google Chrome.

We generally use free PDF reader to open a PDF files for viewing. The recommended tool is Adobe Reader. If you need more options to work with PDF, like editing, annotating, converting and more, you can use Acrobat Reader/Adobe Reader.

Omg I was skeptical that this video would work because my default program was already set to Adobe, but the "Always use this app to open pdf files" box wasn't checked and that did the trick! Thank you SO much! My icons finally don't look like a bunch of Chrome icons anymore! I'm so happy.
