I think its time Monolith Soft and Square Enix get together and make Xenogears remake or remaster (with complete disc 2)

I voted for Xenoblade, but years ago I would have said Final Fantasy. Honorable mentions to Persona 5 and SMT V because those games took their franchises to the next level. On a side note, I hope Square Enix lets team Asano do a mainline Final Fantasy game. That would be really cool. From what I've seen with Octopath, Bravely Default, Triangle Strategy, and Live A Live, they're bound for greatness and I can't wait to see what they do next.

Dragon quest 11 was my first game of the franchise and man it was amazing with what they did in the game. It’s in my top five JRPG games, along with fire emblem three houses. Also triangle strategy was a great this year too.

I love Dragon Quest XI S. I've done two playthroughs and I still can't stop thinking about it. I haven't felt this way about an RPG since Final Fantasy VI on the Super NES!

And the Xenoblade series is just amazing

DQXI S is amazing. I can’t wait to see DQXII and how it’ll be. I still can’t wait for the 2DHD remake of DQ3. I’m looking forward to Crisis Core Remakester very much!

Xenoblade series is a full package. Great story, character, gameplay, music and all the mainline title is on switch. Of course it is the best series on switch right now.

All of them are great, i'm just glad i can play them all on switch like ff 7-12, trails of and ys game, dragon quest, xenoblade, fire emblem, all of asano game, atelier game, shin megami tensei and soon persona 3, 4, 5 and even megaman battle network is on the way..all is left is some of the tales of game and my rpg list is complete on switch.

I just want to say OJ thanks to you. I got into the Xenoblade series and it’s fantastic and I hope you can do the same thing with other games because I really love Xenoblade.

In my opinion Xenoblade Chronicles is the best, with the Season Pass content for 3 releasing over the next year that game will be relevant for a while. The others are great too. Ni No Kuni, The World Ends with You, Marl Kingdom games, Mana series, SaGa. Lots of Nice RPG series on Nintendo Switch.

Great video OJ! Kind of surprised you didn't mention Dragon Quest Builders 1 & 2, unless I missed them being brought up? Great RPG's with Minecraft like elements so I thought I'd mention them! 😇

I played Persona 5 vanilla version on the PS4 and man this game is so amazing. I'm planning on getting Persona 3 and 4 on the switch and dive in to the velvet room. I can't wait. Persona games and Atlus games in general are my favorite because it tackles important issues and discuss about society in general.

We are all still waiting on a Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG sequel. I’m hoping that these two games will be announced when Nintendo reveals their next-gen Switch system! With Nintendo bringing JRPGs back to life, why not create sequels to two of your greatest games of all time, this would boost sales and attract more customers, especially those that grew up in the early JRPG era. I’m still optimistic that this will happen!

The Switch has a lot of excellent RPGs on it and it would be hard to narrow it down to one. Maybe I could say it would be a tie between Shin Megami Tensei V, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster, and Sega Genesis Classics because it includes Phantasy Star IV. Though I still feel kind of bad narrowing it down to so few because there are many RPGs on the Switch that are so great that they deserve to be celebrated.

How do you guys find the time to play all these games man I'm still here playing through xenoblade 3😭. I'm not just playing to finish it I want to thoroughly experience it because they all deserve it
