So you leave the Christmas lights on all the time? They don't mind constant light? I was wondering if you could use red Christmas lights instead and see u do have what looks like some red ones. Maybe mixed colors u have? If I was to buy some now what do u recommend and do u leave them on all the time? I would guess so as it would freeze if not. So they dont mind not having total darkness at night?

Okay I'm back. I want to order some lights but don't plants need some periods of darkness? If you're using lights to heat the greenhouse or hoophouse at night, they aren't getting darkness yeah? So apparently green light isn't easily absorbed so I'm wondering if a string of green Christmas lights would be best... What do u think? Should I get a certain color so they aren't in light 24 hrs a day? I don't have a greenhouse, I'll be using them in a hoophouse or my mini greenhouse made of shelves and greenhouse plastic to start seeds. I do have 4 heat mats but I usually do more than 4 trays. Please help! Would green lights be a smarter idea?
