Seven Lebanese Soldiers Killed In Ambush Near Syrian Border

December 02, 2014 - Military sources say the soldiers were killed when gunmen ambushed them in Tallet al-Hamra in Ras Baalbek near Lebanon’s border with Syria. No group has yet claimed responsibility, but similar attacks in the past were carried out by terrorist groups fighting against the Syrian government. Over the past years, Lebanon has been suffering from a spillover from Syria that’s left dozens dead and many more injured.
