Adria announced the release of the Adria Adora Tiber on 9th Feb 2021. They should start hitting the dealers in April. I have a look at it in this vlog. Not many external pictures available. But I have a good look around the interior.
This contemporary 4 berths rear island bed, centre washroom is sure to be one of their best selling yet

I don't doubt for a second Adria caravans are quality... my problem with them is their interiors. They look like an office of waiting room. I know everyone's taste is different but man.... I really don't like that look. I want to feel cosy and warm not cold and freezing. The outside on the other hand I really like all the detailing, like the grab handles etc.

I'd hazard a guess at the weight - upwards of 1600 - 1700 Kg's (MTPLM)? I'm not a fan of the Adria's, they seem very 'clinical', we've never had an Adria though.

To me Adria is like Marmite, you either like them or you don’t. I don’t like Marmite.

We have a 2017 Adria Adora. After owning a new Bailey that suffered with damp, build quality was one of my first priorities and unfortunately, they seem to be way ahead of the British vans. If you look at their factory video it’s far more automotive type production facilities. We are lucky as we love the style too. Lighting is brilliant so you can easily get it to feel cosy in the evenings. Loads of space too. They are on a slightly different chassis (Delta?) to the British vans and we went from a twin wheel Bailey unicorn to a single wheel Adria which both had roughly the same shipping length. Tows brilliantly and so much easier to manoeuvre. I would definitely have another one.

Went to the show 2 years ago and out of all the caravans the Adrias were the only ones I liked, fell in love with them, went to look at Coachmans. My pet hate for years has been ALL caravans pretty much have been designed and styled for old people, way too much brown and extremely dull - is it any wonder young people aren't into caravans! Love my Adria Thames, towing is a doddle despite being 8ft wide and over 8m long, better than my previous Elddis which was smaller. All you need to know about Adria caravans is that I've been in their owners Facebook group for over 2 years and I can't remember anyone having problems with damp or leaks. Been in the Elddis group and the Coachman group for ages and that is all you hear. Excellent build quality, can't see me buying another brand at the mo.

Bigger than a flat in London, is it really a tourer I think I’ll pass on this one as you did not get excited in your look around, anyway I would have to be a jolly green giant to use the microwave ? how exciting 😀

Thanks for that video.

I am interested in a new (or even newish, if there were any about) centre washroom 4 berth van with a rear island bed and I suppose the Adria Adora Tiber fits that bill. The issue about them is the length, width and weight. I could tow up to 1, 800kg or even a little more but the fact I COULD with my towcar doesn't mean that I want to, and for example I know the site I will be going to tomorrow in Ripon has a very narrow entrance road and gate (only inches to spare on a "normal width" van).

I've earmarked Swift Challenger 560, Coachman Acadia 545, Bailey Unicorn Cabrera and the Elddis Affinity 550 for a detailed look around, but stories of damp in fairly new caravans and less than good build quality is a concern. I'd like to buy a British van but not if it will fall apart. I just got my ancient Elddis back from its service yesterday and the chap there said he hadn't seen one as old as mine which is so bone dry and generally OK for years (mine will be `15 years old shortly and is used many weeks and weekends each year). He said it tended to be the foreign built vans which show the best build quality.

Maybe modern Elddis vans will inherit some German Hymer "build" now it has been taken over by Hymer (not that I can complain about my version - it's the more recent models which are of concern)?

The fear is, you buy a new one and then find dampness or other issues within a short time. Compromises, compromises - price, layout, availability...

Anyway, thanks again. Good video.

I think Adria have single large windows in the European market and three in the uk. I agree with your IKEA assimilation but find the design quite refreshing. The hob/sink idea is very good as it covers everything you need for caravan cooking with space directly in front of the cooking surface. They also give a very good weight upgrade on the chassis.

Does it say what size bed it has, our Adria Thames has a king size bed which we absolutely love!

They are well built but a bit contemporary for us too Graham. These large panoramic roof windows must make the interior like a greenhouse in warm weather and looses the heat quicker during cooler months. Here We Tow Karina and Jules will be watching this video with interest! Cheers. Rob
