Fast and Factual: US Warns Iran Not to Target it for Iranian Embassy Attack in Syria

After Monday's attack on the Iranian embassy compound in Syria, the US has warned Iran not to retaliate against it. The Deputy US Ambassador to the UN said that America will not hesitate to defend our personnel. He added that Washington had no prior warning of the strike. On Monday, Iran accused Israel of bombing its embassy compound in Syria. Tehran has vowed revenge in response.

It’s absurd that the United States government is warning Iran not to retaliate against Israel for blowing up its Embassy in Syria. Embassies are considered sovereign territory. If an embassy is attacked the country that manages that embassy has been attacked. What would your country do if another country blew up your embassy? How many attacks are the Iranians supposed to endure before they finally say enough is enough. I’m 100% American and I support my country 100%! It’s my opinion however, that Iran has no choice but to retaliate or Look weak in the eyes of the rest of the world. Embassies are off-limits to attack. Plain and simple!
