Loved these verses! Such a wonderful reminder of how Great HE is, and that HE is in control! And as His Creation honors and glorifys Him, so shall I! What a privilege! Thank you, Bro. Bagwell!

*HALLELUJAH* Every lesson I learn more about "my Jesus"❤ "my Lord"❤ "our Saviour"❤ "the Creator"❤ "the God-man"❤ These lessons are like the revelation of Jesus Christ without the time of Jacob's Trouble. My ❤‍🔥hearts ablaze with the realization and understanding of "WHO" he really is. Colossians is a great follow up of Song of Solomon. AMEN! BROTHER BAGWELL 💯👍❣🙏

There is something about the name of Jesus! Paul just thinks about Him and he takes off again. It should be the same for every Christian. The name of Jesus should get us talking about him. It should stir us up. Nature is a good way to introduce Jesus to others. He is the Creator.

Great study Dr. Bagwell!!! Beautiful church in the background. The theme of the Lord Jesus comes up at the end of this prayer in Colossians. He can't quit talking about the Lord Jesus Christ. "By"/ἐν/en/in Him. Jesus created and those days were literal 24-hour days. Amen! Jesus is the "firstborn", the head, the imminent one. "Heaven"/οὐρανός/ouranos/to rise up. We need to get away from the idea that Jesus (God's son, the Messiah, the 2nd person of the Trinity) that He is temporal. This is not true. Jesus is eternal! Jesus created all things in heaven and all things that are in earth. Jesus created the mountains, the oceans, the continents, the islands etc. the word horizon, it means to stare at. "Invisible" refers to protons, neutrons, electrons etc. who have supremacy. This would be judges, prime ministers, kings, presidents etc. things in power. You have angels and then you have archangels (first in power). the badge of authority. This is good government and bad government. Jesus has the whole world in His hands. He is omniscient. See Eph. 6:12. The powers go higher than flesh and blood. We are fighting demons and devils. "By"/διά/dia/thru the means of. "For"/εἰς/eis/into Him. Jesus is the source of all creation, and all creation exists for His honor and His glory. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega. This whole world will magnify the Lord one of these days. This world will be redeemed one day when the curse is lifted. "Before"/πρό/pro. Before there were whales, mountains and automobiles, there was Jesus. He is above all things. Everything is held together by Jesus Christ. Jesus not only created the universe, but He maintains the universe. His work is ongoing. He created originally and that work continues by His might, glory and power. Thank you so much for doing these studies!
