i noticed the trailer has splashed mud from the 4 wd your driving, install a pair of mud flaps, make sure to cover a little more outside the tire, this way the mud flap will shoot out the mud away from the truck and the front of the trailer. i mentioned LINE X, i thinking of LINE Xing my whole trailer to install the outside from heat and the cold, then all you have to do is hose it off instead of washing the whole trailer. i notice your trailer is slanting down to the hitch? you need a 6" drop itch turn over to raise the hitch to straight out the trailer more, . the ways is now one day your going to go down the road a sheer off the ball off the hitch? i ve seen that to many times on the road? see that trailer is made for a military style truck where the hitch is off the ground about 4-5 feet up, not down at 16 to 20" on your tuck?

Advice from a builder: i never use silicone on builds, because it breaks down too easily by UV or waether. I exclusively use 3M- 5200.. its made for boats/ships/sailboats/etc.. and it is literally the best stuff you can buy! It is more expensive, but you will thank yourself.

The air hitting the box on top will drop your gas millage 2 or 4 mpg.

Nice box but maybe after a little time, remove the Velcro ( sun rot ) and install some Ace hardware or Home Depot turn buckles instead, they are cheap 👍🏼

the large box should be in between the 2 side rails to anchor down, using a ratchet style tie down lay the straps across the top of the box, you should tie down the box using the outside rails, . in the front of the box you should have a small round tube say like a 6" or 8" tube in front to break the air flow, to force the air flow over the box instead of forcing air into the front of the box, forcing into the box causes drag on top, !with the tube you can install other items like a 2 pc. fishing ole or something long, garden hose for the water, ??? you will notice a big different in the air flow over the top of the trailer using the pipe . military doesnt care about things like that when they install there boxes, government pays for the fuel, but you should, since you pay for the fuel.? straps harbor freight 4 ea. for 8.00 ratchet style, funny i have the same box like you have, ! one more thing to have on top, i used a coating for the top on my 8x14 trailer, LINE X IN A SPRAY CAN, mine took 4 cans, i sprayed the top to water proof the top, its a little ruff but its weather proof. it will seal better then anything on the market today? plus your top will look great!
