Irisity IRIS™ – Loitering detection

IRIS™ Loitering detection is developed to prevent and deter break-ins and vandalism at an early stage. The algorithm gives an early warning when someone is lingering or dwelling in specified zones for a set period of time. A person dwelling just outside the perimeter fence of a private property could mean someone is preparing an intrusion. People lingering on school grounds after hours often results in property damage or graffiti. Loitering detection uses a combination of excellent human detection with time-based loitering functionality and will trigger alarms on continuous human presence in a zone over a set period of time. Further measures could then be taken such as calling a guard, lighting a floodlight or sounding a siren.
