MCC [Magna Carta Cartel]:

We are MCC from Sweden. We play magical rock music.

MCC writes and performs “Radio-edited movie themes, for daily life and death”.

Our music reminds of Vangelis meeting Tom Petty, trying to reach U2, willing to be Joy Division, feeling like ABBA, longing to be Brian Eno, remembering Jean Michel Jarre, looking at Metallica, sleeping with Mike Oldfield, dancing to Koto, hunting the Beatles, killing Morricone in a duel, snorting to Moroder etc etc.

”Sway” is the first single from our upcoming release, due in early spring 2017.

I knew of Magna Carta Cartel before I knew of ghost. I really wish MCC had more recognition as a band, and not just because of Martin. They deserve it, in my opinion.

Ghost definitely have a lot to prove with their next album. Unfortunately Omegas outstanding stage prescence cannot be replaced. It simply can not, and his way of handling his guitar on stage leaves us speechless. A lot of guitarists plays faster and more complicated, but the feeling of Omegas guitar handling as well as his theatrical moves on stage is what`s make him special. Just like Angus young, it`s hard to define what IT is, but you just now that it`s there. You don`t have to play the fastest to be the best (think about that all you shredders). There are hundreds of copies of copies of so called guitar heroes. Martin Persner is a very special artist and has nothing left to prove, just see all the love and respect he gets around the world. I hope you are well Martin, we will follow your work with MCC and TID. You've got IT big time!
