The Bus v1.0 | Berlin | TXL | Scania Citywide 12m

Hello and welcome back to The Bus!

In this video we'll be driving the full TXL route from Alexanderplatz to Flughafen Tegel (Tegel Airport). We'll be using the Scania Citywide 12m variant, a version not currently found in Berlin as they only use the bendy versions, but it'll be fun to drive non the less!

It's a really well done route which really does trigger nice memories of the city! I really am so excited for what The Bus has to offer in terms of its future!

Totally agree...Berlin during Christmas Markets is amazing...each market has it's own themed glasses, so You can just go around and make a collection ;) Prague is also beautiful and if You have a chance to go, definitely do it...same for Vienna and Budapest during Christmas Markets...also as a bonus in Budapest, they've got thermal baths with naturally hot water...its amazing in a winter ;)

Fun fact about those blue pipes as I always wondered what they were when I’ve been to Berlin! 😂 They’re used to pump ground water out from construction sites, as parts of Berlin were built on swamp type land. Such a fantastic city!

Looks a lovely route. Thoroughly enjoyed today's episode of "Joe's German Tours whilst driving a bus" lol Actually the tour guide was fascinating to hear about, I enjoyed the little side story to the video. Great video again Herr Joe

The timetable at the beginning reminds me of catching the bus in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA on business a few years ago. I was eating outside and kept seeing the #4 bus pull up for 7 or 8 minutes-- passengers sauntering on, the driver getting out for a smoke--I asked one of the drivers if this was the end of line and he said, "No, we're just early." Later that day I was coming back from a shopping center and the bus pulled up at 11:04. I thought, oh, we must be 4 minutes late for the 11:00. No; we were 11 minutes early for the 11:15! The driver and all the passengers sat calmly for 11 minutes before we took off. Where I'm from there would have been a riot if we held for 11 minutes in the middle of the route. I guess nobody in Florida is in a hurry!

u can go up the map top right to the new depo it is big joe love this one this may be the new omsi2 wean they is new routs to do nice to no berlin by u joe i well do mp weth u if u wont too
