These custom fountain pen nibs are a product of Esterbrook’s collaboration with nibmeisters around the world. Gena Salorino created a special mini stub nib for every day journaling, Josh Lax has this mini architect nib for beautiful line variation, and CY has this nuanced zoom nib that is so very enjoyable to use (imagine four nibs in one pen!).

Um… ‘ms’ on the nib is actually for “music nib” which I have a few pens with - ms- nibs and (to me) they write like my 1.1 stubs only finer so just putting that out there. Not sure why Esterbrook is calling ‘ms’ a mini stub! The ‘ms’ designation has already been assigned/given to “music nibs” for decades and decades… Sailors, Platinum and others 🤷🏼‍♀️
So the term of “mini stub”, to me (which is causing confusion) is trying to rename the music nib which many folks are not familiar with to a buzzy “mini stub”…
