I asked ChatGPT to create a ToDo application using ASP.NET Core MVC and it did exactly that.
I was able to get all the suggestions from ChatGPT and build a ToDo app in under 5 minutes.

I can say that ChatGPT provided 95% of the code and there were 5% of tweaks that we had to make to be able to correctly run the application.

So the big question! Is ChatGPT here to steal our jobs or it is here to make our lives easier by doing all the heavy lifting for us!

Do drop your comments to let me know how you feel about it and how you use it.

ChatGPT will help in coding, It is only that developer has to have all concepts crystal clear to make maximum out of it

You can't rely on in 100% ! Many times I've tested and given many mistakes! So it won't take jobs from developers! It can't build a complex or even simple / in your example / a web application or just say good luck for the bugs! 😃

Chat GPT will be used as a tool by programmers not as a replacement, is that so ?

Chatgpt can be great for startup, but to be honest, most of the time, stackoverflow is more reliable that chatgpt😁

When i have used it for things it gives me bad code.

When i ask it non code questions like for Jujitsu its dangerously wrong XD

Isn't ChatGPT [going in] a 5GL [direction]? In that respect, you can "talk" to the computer to come up with a solution, however, won't the solution still just be out of the "box"? Anything beyond the "box" will require manual intervention in order to make it to one's desires (as demonstrated) ... Consider this: All of the AI offerings out there are still "pseudo" AI.

I may be old school, but I'm still not convinced that this technology will really help make us any smarter. If anything, it will really make the less initiated dumber simply because it "provides" an answer without any understanding. Look at what instant information (the web) has done to IT. You can answer any problem out there, but does it really stick? If you don't have to muddle thru a problem, what have you really learned? At last review, it was at least 10, 000* hours to become a master at something.
