I have the large pursuit. It's a great knife

I have the small Sellkirk and found that with extensive use (an afternoon in my backyard 😬), the butt plate tended to dig into my hand quite a bit. Was very uncomfortable. Had to wrap tape around it.

It might be the choil on the Selkirk would make a good place for using a Ferro rod. Buck knives with a flat grind are not the normal Buck Ground blade you see very often. 👍

I have both the green made-in-USA Pursuits (Large/Small) on order. You can keep the Buck China knife.

i would choose most anything over a hollow grind. i also like the wood handle, those composite handles just look cheap and generic to me.
