'The Way I Am' by Merle Haggard 1980

Merle Haggard's "The Way I Am" was released on 3/15/1980 and became a #2 Counrtry Music Hit. It was on the LP "The Way I Am" released on 5/3/1980. This classic Hag song was by songwriting legend Sonny Throckmorton. Merle is consider by most of his fellow musicians as the greatest of all time in Country Music. Merle Haggard was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1994.
