I just dont understand why they create ranked for these games, but still add sbmm to casual. If I wanted to play against tryhards to get better, I'd play ranked, not a random TDM match.

It’s genuinely such a braindead system. Sure, bad players exist, but I got better at cod by getting my ass beat by really good players, not sitting in a corner and letting the devs give me the win because they “feel bad for me”.

Its really cool having a ranked system in unranked playlists, AND having a whole separate ranked playlist also. Its also really cool that for 4 games SBMM has been wildly unpopular but still comes back every single time

The reason people are suspicious of those who want to get rid of SBMM is because, generally, they want to get rid of it *entirely*. The ideal game has a casual mode (with random match making) and a ranked mode (with skillbased).

If someone says SBMM should be removed from only one, or there should only be one 'mode' and it shouldn't have it, I figure they just want to have fun.

If someone says ranked modes shouldn't have SBMM, I become suspicious.

One match is A 9-5 workers who come back from home and wanna play casually, the next match is A whole CDL league finals game

I feel like without it you’d get a better sense of progression too. You can start off dying every 2 seconds but then eventually you become the dude that’s on that crazy kill streak. Plus without sbmm I feel like you’re more free to use weird classes too which is so much fun
