I think UK is probably underrated in this poll, but I understand the thinking. Entirely new team and coaches. We landed in the poll, and that’s good. Hopefully, the number 23 gives the team motivation to win games and climb the poll. There is something in me that likes the thought of UK being a little overlooked. Rare opportunity to potentially sneak up on people.

Exactly, Mike!!! The fact is, we were heading down in our last years under Cal. The critics are probably also taking recent first round NCAA Tournament losses into account. Everyone has to prove themselves all over again. I’m pumped about Mark Pope and the coaching staff/players. I was 18 years old when Mark’s UK team won the 1996 title, but he has to prove he can do it as a head coach.

We going have a grind it out year in a good way. We are very experience and that will help. We be a lot different in the near future the way the 25 class he gots comming a lot of freshman talent. He will get players like Perry Moreno Noah Lewis and I think even Caleb wilison . I think he will be 2 plus year as well. He a college guy. So we got a shot this year for sure with talent had to take what we could get. The the amount of pure talent will go sky high if he keeps retention on this big time recruits he cashing in. If we get Caleb and Lewis we be too 3 in basketball recruiting I pretty sure over cal

Yes!! We are the SEC in Men’s Basketball. We have won more conference regular season championships than the rest of the league combined. But, we have got to prove it. I do think it’s absurd that we are picked to finish 8th in conference, but again, we have to prove we are more and deserve to have more.

I absolutely cannot stand how our fans can’t accept the fact that Cal isn’t our coach anymore. All I see now is people comparing Pope to Cal, I’m just happy to root for my favorite team again this year! Love your channel man!
