from the bottom of my heart and with my entire soul, i love you mehro. you are a master at work, and everything you make is a work of art. i apologise beforehand for any grossly inaccurate interpretation of this song, or for missing any themes that the song is trying to convey, but 'exploding' struck a chord deep within me and spoke to the part of myself that has been afraid ever since turning 20.

besides the overwhelming existential crisis, there is the part of me that feels old and weary, yet wild and desperate. of vaguely knowing what i want but at the same time flailing around aimlessly. precariously balancing between uncaring and caring too much.

this verse in particular, "you think i care, that you're older than me. you're only as young as you choose to be. and i don't need any of your warnings, i'm ready for your anything", feels like me right now talking my future self, and me right now listening to my younger self. the trip i'm getting from this verse is insane. the impact quite literally knocked the wind out of me. it really stands to reason that the one who will be there for me, helping me the most throughout my journey, is me.

this song is important to me, just as much as the songs that brought you to me, perfume... hideous... chance with you; with all that said, you look stunning in a little black dress! never stop unleashing your creativity! you are such a joy to experience, an absolute delight to the senses!
