1990s Coin Operated Steam Engine Kiddie Ride - Rio Grande

Filmed at Happidrome Amusements, Southend on September 3rd 2021.

Manufactured by Amutec of Mablethorpe, the Rio Grande steam engine was released in 1992.

This particular unit has been at the Happidrome since it was new and I have a picture of myself riding on it in the mid-90s. It was unusual to see it in this colour scheme here in the UK.
