What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

1. Every well can be upgraded with 2 extensions for oxygen. So you need 1x Medium Solar Panel, 1x Battery, 1x ECU, 1x Whell, 2x Whell extension for O2, 2x Oxygen tank, and 1x Pump to connect the oxygen tanks into one merged output line. You should get at least 6l oxygen per hr on the output. Build up the battery and ECU to keep power during the night.
2. Exploring with the rover I find a big base to grind with water source Nerby and build the well with oxygen expansion and ecu and solar panel with battery. When you grind the base the rover gets refilled with power and oxygen, even if you sleep for the next trip in the morning. Also, Hold LMB to pick up wires even if they are connected. You can refill water directly by the water tank or well output, the same goes for oxygen. Don't waste time recharging bottles :)

Hey bud, quick key tip, when you want to pick something up, say like the cable, hold Ctrl and left click, it will go straight into the inventory, even if the other side is still plugged in. Also works on all the stuff you find around the old bases. Not sure if you knew this as i have never seen a timer on picking stuff up, not sure how your making that happen.

On the map, there are little pins dotted about, that is where the water is, just make sure your near one of them and then you can get water. Good to see you figured the O2 out aswell. Should help with the whole staying alive thing, LOL

I had a good day on this game today tho, found tomatos, Apples, pumpkins, Poplar seeds, also found another one, but cant remember what it is now, but man is that good. Finally going to be able to set up a real farm. I did find the grinder 3 today aswell, but my game bugged out and in the knowledge tab it says i have it, but in the tech tab it says i dont. Had to rage quit cause of that, but i will be going back on in a bit. need to get that thing working. then design my perfect base and then just build it. I have a small crusher and found the big one, so need the tech points now to unlock everything.

The best way I find to get my oxygen back on the road is to build the survival pod. Then make a small solar panel to power it. You can refill your oxygen tanks. To refill the rover with oxygen you have to build a well and then the well extension and place an oxygen tank on it. It will also need 10kw of power so another panel, but it will fill it up pretty slow, so I just use my suit oxygen and then refill my bottles on the survival pods. I litter the map with a well, a pod and a panel. That lets me replenish everything and I carry a bunch of food. Quick tip, make sure to ALWAYS carry electric and water cables on the rover. You will need that on the road and are unable to make it witout a building and 3d printer.

I've created "gas stations" on the various routes I routinely take.

They include a water/oxygen well and a solar panel attached to a battery.

It uses some resources but takes no space and saves time.

I usually resupply while sleeping and am all set to go in the morning.

Once you get grinder III, go to that old base that has nothing in it where the tutorial started at, and grind the big buildings and your techs for materials will fly up compared to what you are grinding now.

dont worry about refilling the oxygen in the rover. Whenever i charge mine and leave the game the oxygen has refilled itself. Lock differential = all wheel drive.

The cheapest way to make O2 on the road is to make a survival capsule. Very cheap to make, will refill your O2 bottles and give you some remote 3D printing too :)

In grinding I don’t waste my time with little stuff in a base. Grind up solar panels and wells and big stuff outside, loot base and off to next one. Maybe big desks but not the little stuff, it just takes too much time. Once you get grinder 3 with low bases I’ll walk up grind the base then just pick up the loot that falls.

If you zoom into the map you can see a little tiny symbol that’s water. Its faint white marker.

To make oxygen you need the well extension - the sabiter or however its spelled that will allow you to collect oxygen and methane (must add a tank)

The whole taking off and putting on your helmet should be an automated process from the game itself

For o2, you need the attachments for the wells, then you can produce, store, and transfer o2 to the rover. You can also use them to supply o2 to your buildings. It's a bit slow and you need to dedicate wells just for that. Unfortunately, there aren't any containers yet that you can hook multiple o2 lines to, I assume they'll come at some point. For the well extentsion, just add an oxygen tank to it and it'll automatically start producing it. They do (the extensions) require additional power, I think it's 5 per and you can add one on either side.

If you bring the materials with you to build the survival capsule that is literally identical to the pod you start out in, except that you need to power it. So you can bring the materials with that you need to build the survival capsule and whatever you're going to use to power it. That has the co2 scrubber you can use to refill oxygen bottles as well as a 3d printer.

If you want to refill oxygen on the rover itself you need the thing that attaches to the well that generates oxygen and methane and then you run a hose from the oxygen output to the input on the rover.

For the getting points for materials, I’ve found that building structures and using the 3D Printer helped me to get my points in the Materials tree. I did a fair amount of mining rocks and also exploring abandoned bases grinding everything I could.

The work shop air locks won't let you out if you don't have your helmet on. I almost used the grinder on it lol

@Kage848 - I've been playing this for a while now and now am looking at this game differently. I've been treating it now kind of like Valheim. Up to the point you are at now, it was about improving your character and survival. Once you have the new solar panels, large rover, and GrinderIII, I think it's more about gathering resources and building a great base. Would love to see you use the rover and grinder and everything to build a great over-the-top base!

Maybe work shop is the oxygen tank so you could hook it up with the auction hose and hook you up with the big Rover rig that's what or you can keep on refilling the bottles and place them back in the rig.

usually machine diferentials dont lock both of the parts ( wheels on these case) so you lock it to get both wheels on the diferentials to spin ( cars and trucks have a similar system)

if this is a good sim when you lock the diff you will waste more energy and also, it would be harder to park and take corners ( since unlocking the diff help you turn better, thats why in real life it is more used in racing and hard/extreme activities than regular cars for common people to drive and park)

I'll have to watch more episodes to learn how long it took you to figure out that the survival capsule is the exact same thing as the one you arrived in from the wrecked shuttle and that you can fill up your oxygen bottles in it when powered...
Also, and this is somewhere in the FAQ, you take damage from grinding down solar panels WHEN you are facing the outlet because as you do it from the side you can even see the huge amount of sparks coming out of that thing.

The game won't let you leave your base if you take off your helmet. Also for the oxygen for the rover you need the well upgrade which is from a blueprint. Don't forget you can lower buildings by pressing the arrow keys.

I did the restart at an abandoned base trick I read on here somewhere trick, and it worked! if you don't find a tablet at a base, save and restart, sometimes it spawns in a tablet that didn't load.
