I am doing this now and I have a few thousand pre-sign ups to an app idea (we will see what happens) but I was patient and it took me nearly two weeks to find the right developer. I am in the US and the developers were all in India or Pakistan. There was a language barrier with a fair amount of them. I spent an upwards of an hour a day (or night as when I had time) to look, email, and volley with certain people. My advice is to be careful NOT to hire anyone without at least four prior clients (individual). Some scammers will have four ratings but three of the ratings are one client and they all seem like bots in how the rating is stated. This seems obvious but if you find yourself on the lower budget (see very few people offering what you can afford), make sure to ask anyone with no ratings to see at least two examples in their portfolio. I got some bizarre links that did not work. Two immediately clicked off that site (not available links). I did report them because I hope to save some other people time and hassle. Secondly, if developers get back to you but don't ask questions as to how the flow of the project should be (yes, even with Figma frames), don't hire them. Also, try to talk to a few people BEFORE hiring 'the one.' You don't want to be hasty and it is much more beneficial to spend the time so you can hopefully have a great outcome and hire them again without the need to vet some new talent. The process (at least for me) was a major pain in the a).
On the flip side, I found someone to put the demo ad together in only around two hours. There is a lot more of that talent than legit developers.The person was extra responsive and got me a sample demo within the hour of inquiry and did not expect any payment until I was happy. I do think it is the best platform if you are on a very limited budget and have some time to dig for the talent. Also, don't forget to use a coupon if this is your first time. I got my app for 300.00 and saved 20%. The coupon allowed me to add another 50-60 in my budget to get a better developer.I actually came in 10.00 under my budget.

Don't forget your developper probably ran many transactions on your Zano database, hence the message telling you that you have maxed out the transactions allowed on the free plan
