God the eurobeat and OST really do add so much to the entire presentation

The very reason why he spun out was because of his sprint in the first run. Kubo thought he can successfully outrun Keisuke, but Project D knew about this and told Keisuke to not go at his full potential I'm his previous races.
Hence that's why he was able to keep up.
Also Go driving an MR not only faced tyre wear as usual, but snap oversteer due to it being MR (trust me, Assetto Corsa taught it to me rough).
Sure anime plot armor, but in reasonable way.

At first I genuinely thought this was one of the worse races in the series, and just wanted to see the downhill, but...No cap, THIS is the best race for me. I don't need flashy overtakes, the feels and vibes alone made this the best.

It was a good battle. But it feels like the main character wasn't Keisuke.

Fifth stage lacked depth (+story) or plot twist of fourth stage, it was simply the continuation of fourth stage with very typical anime cliches (Keisuke the golden hair lively guy matures and wins with perseverance, strategy and consistency, Takumi the black/brown hair calm guy with potential and inner fire wins mostly with luck and divine intervention, Ryosuke is still the King of the Hill, Rin is a suicidal ghost who eventually gets his vengeance settled, Shinji the youngest kid has the most potential and is the fastest although Takumi still wins over him with luck, etc.)

If he can beat Hojo Go’s NSX, he may beat the strongest cars in MFG. Michael Beckenbaur’s Cayman and Ishigami’s GT3 Included.
