Istanbul for now, Southeast Asia for a bit later - I'll surely show you every single destination I go. Thank you for being with me 🙏 and if you want to support me more - like, sub, and donate any suitable way I mentioned in the description

Can we just appreciate how relaxed Niki looks and how safe, compared to being assaulted in St. Petersburg by a fellow Russian for speaking English? I love that you are you travelling and look forward to learning about the countries you travel to. I have never been to any of that area, so it will be so interesting! Glad you are well and safe!

I love the fact that you're going to travel! I may have found you because of the interesting updates on real life in Russia, but you are doing so much more by vlogging your travels. I'm disabled and can't easily travel. You're allowing me to see places and people and cultures I would never be able to experience myself. Thank you!

This is such a stressful situation. Your videos are extremely uplifting as well. We all need to support this young man and follow him on his journey.

Glad you're safe Niki. My wife and I have been cheering for you since we first found your channel 5 months ago.
Maybe in the future you could do a "virtual check-in" with Natasha and other Russian youtubers to see how everyone is doing after leaving, would be interesting to hear the perspectives.
All the best on your upcoming travel adventures!

Niki, I am an American who has always enjoyed your intelligent and insightful point of views about culture. While the world knows Turkey now goes through some hard times, even in this video you make Turkey look wonderful, better than the mere news. Good luck and stay safe.

This American grandma is very thankful you are safe. You were smart to leave when you did. Keep blogging and we will keep watching. Cheers.

Glad you're safe. I am loving the cat content. So cool how the cats are everywhere and people care for them. Wish we had that here!

Hello Niki! A small "aside" concerning you furry visitor:
You may already have noticed that animals, especially stray cats, have a special status in Turkey, especially in Istanbul. There are some turkish Youtube channels sharing their activities for them.
Animals there have a lot of trust in humans there.
Please be kind to these friendly furballs.
Greetings and best wishes from an Austrian🇦🇹 living in Southern Germany

I’ve been to Istanbul lots of street cats but the people there love cats and take care of feeding them. The cats are usually friendly. Glad to hear you got out of Russia. The people are friendly and the food is great.

So glad that a responsible person has thought about the reasons instead of panicking. It's good for you to be away from your home for a while until things are resolved. This war could drag on for some time yet, which is unfortunately caused by one person who lives in the past. Hopefully you will be OK. Cheers from Oz.

You are so calm, and also very lucky for getting out while you could. Please give us an update on how you’re able to survive financially while having Russian Banks, ATM, Credit Cards, etc.

Hi Niki, great to see you able to take a step back from the stress from the Russian dire situation. While you are in Turkey I advise you take Turkish lessons if you are going to travel a lot. I'm Dutch and learned Turkish years ago. I could while travelling, communicate in Turkish with Azeris, Georgians, Iranians, Kirgiz, Tadjik, Uzbeks, Bulgars, North Chinese, Mongols, Kazachs and many other nationalities with ease in Turkish. While working in the oil and gas sector. I travelled a lot and there is nothing like sitting down with locals and conversing. The world becomes a kinder place.

Hi Niki. I live in Canada. I came across one of your videos when you were talking about what it was like when the big companies like Ikea leaving Russia. I have learned a bit more about what is really going on there. I too was worried when this started. My son and daughter are around your age. My heart is breaking for Russians and for Ukrainians. Glad you are safe. Keep us updated on what you can.

Niki, I'm glad you're safe. Remember, when one door closes another usually opens and it sounds like you're going to have great adventures traveling! Something I think would make the world much better if we all did more of it. Enjoy the adventure!

It doesn't matter about your address and being self employed though, Niki. Authorities could have just stopped you in the street in Russia, asked for your ID and if you were in a list to be drafted, they'll take you. At first i was also in the rare camp of thinking you could stay there, but now i agree it was the right move to leave, and you and Konstantin did it in the nick of time. I'm so glad Lisa can join you as well. ❤
