The Polygon network has long been a layer 2 network with its sights set on the future and bringing innovation to the crypto space.

And now after a year of community-led discussions and consensus, Polygon’s native gas token MATIC has been upgraded to POL as the network token for Polygon.

This means that all transactions on the Polygon network will now use POL instead of MATIC as the native gas and staking token.

This upgrade has already occurred automatically on Polygon PoS and for MATIC stakers even if wallets still display “MATIC” due to the RPC settings. Never fear, the token is indeed now POL.

For MATIC holders on Ethereum or centralized exchanges, you can use the Polygon Portal (please only use official links) to migrate 1:1 from MATIC to POL. There is currently no deadline for migration.

But this upgrade goes much further beyond a simple token change from MATIC to POL...

Any plans on growing sphere marketing, I feel like project is amazing and it makes really good passive income in dyson, but for price to grow, more people need to hear about sphere !
