You can also disable limit on ranges and use it like "normal" 1271 with degraded specs. 4950 uses better resistors than 1281 in ohm assemblies.

The sarcasm is a metrology grade, hermetically sealed no laughter masterpiece.

The fact, that he as a German, speaks like a scotch and using terms like "yoink" for specialized tasks, is the reason I'm subscribed right from the start. Thumbs up.

That grey PCB looks like pure obtanium with parts worth their weight in some precious metal 😍

Those tin whiskers are concerning, I wonder if disturbing them could be the cause of the failure. They can blow around quite easily and can really travel. Best to dampen a small artist's brush with de-ionized water and use that to remove them. They will cling to a damp brush which you can wipe often with a damp cloth to prevent redistributing them.

Power electronics engineer here. I've been in 3 labs already and i tell you in my field nobody knows how to design proper sensor conditioning stages. Thanks to you i hear terms like zero drift and autozero and chopping

My Datron 1082 is easily my favorite tool to use 😊
They really made some slick equipment back in the day!

I don't understand much about electronics (yes, monkeys can learn). But I like the humor in your video's. Keep up the good work! :)

These videos are never too dense! All this talk about ppms sounds like lovely music

I for one am extremely happy with the release schedule as of late.

I have no idea what you're talking about 80.0008521% of the time, and none of your content has any relevance to me, but your videos are so well made I love watching them. It really shows it doesn't matter what you're doing, if you can make entertaining videos, people will watch them. This could be one of the most boring channels on YouTube, but instead it's one of the best.

Also, the millisecond advantage joke was very funny

So Marco if I ever get around to writing my movie script about disappearing PPM's would you want to be the evil villain, hording the ppm's? or the hyper intelligent good guy german who is measuring the missing ppm's to track down the villain?

the twist is both are the same person, but one measures ppms... and one "loses"/ "adjusts" the calibration data and steals them for his ppm vault.

That reference module has some 1930's Germany vibes :D
