I have a Technics SL - 220 that i purchased in 1976 .
Played it many times through the years, and it still works great .
About a year ago, i cleaned the electronics.
It's still using the original needle.
I wonder if it's time to change it .

Surely is it not just common knowledge that the TECHNICS SL-1200 RULES FOR ETERNITY!!! do not bother with anything else, no matter how good a turntable is if it does not have the ability to set the speed dead on the correct speed it's WORTHLESS!! because no matter if you spend £100 or £100, 000 if the record does not revolve at the correct fixed speed then it's not worth playing your records END OF STORY!!!! 😐😐😐😐😐😐
