Join in to learn more about this amazing group of plants (Australia has 97 species). Prof Dave Watson, an international expert will talk about the myths around mistletoe, values of mistletoe and seed. Birdlife Australia’s Mick Roderick and Kristy Peters will speak on the significance of mistletoe in the Hunter Valley and seeding trials after bushfire and drought.

• Mistletoe is misunderstood
• Is a ‘keystone resource’ in our temperate woodlands
• Important habitat for a range of fauna, including threatened species (and at least 2 nationally listed species of birds that occur locally).
