Honor View 10 vs OnePlus 5T: The WINNER Is...

Here's my two cents:
Build and design: OnePlus 5T. They are both similar in that they are both metal unibody devices, but the 5T does have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as opposed to an unknown and likely less durable glass. Also, Honor has made no comments regarding water resistance, while OnePlus' 5T is confirmed to be splash resistant. Also, it is more curvaceous and easy to hold than the boxier and flatter View 10. Fingerprint scanner placement is subjective, however, but the 5T's ceramic fingerprint scanner is more durable than the View 10's metal one (Refer to JerryRigEverything for more info).

Display: Draw. The AMOLED display used offers deeper blacks and inkier colors than the Honor View 10, and OnePlus' display is amazingly calibrated. But, the Honor View 10's display has the longevity advantage due to not being at risk for burn-in, and the View 10's display technically is sharper due to an RGB subpixels matrix instead of Diamond PenTile.

Software: OnePlus 5T. The Honor View 10's sole advantage here is Oreo out of the box: OxygenOS is more cohesive and stable than EMUI, and has the advantage in fluidity. Also, the development pool for the Honor will be inherently smaller due to lack of support for Huawei's custom SoC.

Performance: OnePlus 5T (slightly). The CPU performance between both is relatively equal. But the 5T has a more powerful GPU and similar RAM management prowess, as well as the option for more RAM. It would, however, be interesting to see filesystem performance between the two though.

Camera: OnePlus 5T. Video is the Honor's biggest disadvantage, as there is no OIS, OnePlus' gyroscope EIS is among the best on the market, and video quality of the Honor is inferior. Also, from what I've seen, the 5T overall takes better photos. However, the Honor has a FAR better implementation of a dual camera system than the 5T; native monochrome shots from the View 10 are sublime, and the low-light camera of the 5T isn't earth-shattering.

Battery: Unknown. I've yet to see a battery drain test between the two, but I think it'd be fairly even, as the V10 has bigger battery, but the 5T has a more efficient display panel. Recharge times are a win for the View 10, even though the 5T finishes charging in less time, as the Supercharger charges more mAh per unit of time.

Price: Draw.

Extras: View 10. The View 10 has an IR blaster, headphones, expandable storage, and far more AI computational ability, as well as cool features built into EMUI. The 5T is a far more Spartan package by contrast.

Audio: Unknown. I don't know how good the V10's DAC is, but the 5T has pretty good wired audio quality. From your speaker comparison, the View 10 seemed louder but the sound seemed less harmonically balanced and more treble-heavy, while clarity and lower frequency response seemed better on the more balanced output from the 5T.

However, in my country, V10 is a big organiser for online gaming like modern combat and mobile legends. So how?

I ordered both and am currently trying to decide between the two. As of right now its extremely difficult. In my opinion the View 10 just lacks in the camera department. No EIS (which can be fixed via software update), but even more problematic in my opinion is that many images are very overexposed especially in conditions with a lot of artificial light. I do prefer its exterior design though (even though the noises of the camera when putting the phone onto a table bug me). Difficult...

Man im so glad i came here i saw alot of people making stupid excuses about the One Plus being better than the V10. A top reviewer made it even seem so but im guessing they were all paid off and stuff. Also they made issues with the camera yes it doesn't have EIS however you can still take phenomenal photos right. It's a great phone.. Takes great pictures and video.
After my friend with a 5t seen my view first hand.. He returned it and ordered a view 10.
Awesome game phone as well, handles all the new games flawlessly.

The screen of the Honor V10 is so white. I previously had Honor 8 and the colours were very very bad!
