This is a taste test/review of the Specially Selected (ALDI brand) Lobster Mac & Cheese meal. It is premium lobster and cavatappi pasta blended with cheddar, fontina and asiago cheeses and topped with breadcrumbs. It was $5.99. 1 cup (204g) = 300 calories

The flavor of lobster is not repulsive if you are accustomed to eating quality seafood. It is pleasant by itself - but I quickly added a little bit of ketchup and horseradish to create a cocktail sauce on half of it. Between the two it made a great experience. I finished the whole thing! 740 CAL is not bad if you consider that a Whopper is over 1100. Lots of good protein.

Why are yall putting it in the microwave??? Put it in the oven but before putting it in put shredded cheese on it and put it in the oven for 42 minutes. Then mix it and eat it. Mines didn’t have a fishy smell at all. It was delicious to me.

😂😂. It’s almost worth getting this just for the smell in the lunch room! Can’t believe that’s 2.5 portions, they must do portion sizes to get a comfortable calorie number rather than what some one needs to eat for a meal. Looks like a nice one! Thanks for the review

I wouldn't think real lobster would smell so bad unless you are boiling the tails for the first time to cook it. Used to make them for my Mom and they were very strong smelling. But after cooking it never seemed to smell if I used it for other dishes. I'm sure my Mom would love this but I would have to pass because we can't make something that smells so strong where we're staying. Thank you Kevin.

I tried this today I added shredded mozzarella and some hot sauce to make that lobster taste more balanced it was really good 👍

I have tried this. I took one bite and threw it away cause it was so fishy and I can’t stand fishy tasting things. Don’t get me wrong, I do love lobster tails with butter. Wish I could eat it everyday. But this was absolutely discussing.
