Shah Rukh Khan was born in New Delhi, India, to parents Meer Taj Muhammad Khan and Lateef Fatima Khan. He grew up in a middle-class family and attended St. Columba's School and Hansraj College, both in Delhi. He later pursued a degree in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, and also completed his post-graduation in Film Making from the renowned National School of Drama (NSD) in Delhi.
