Fascinating to see on the 777 that the outboard flaps are not lowered much vs the inboards and that the outboard ailerons are crowed - I do that on my scale RC airliners but had no idea the trip7 employs crow on landing - unlike the Airbus 330/350/340 ailerons which droop to assist the flaps - but the 320 ailerons crow too - never noticed that....love it!

On Poseidon the raked wingtips push the vortices outward and away from trailing refueling jets and also minimize vortices - there are also some practical benefits for maintenance of the raked wingtips vs vertical or split winglets, they did some research on winglets on Airbus' C295 (ex CASA) which is being offered and utilised in a variety of military and maritime roles but retained the raked wing tips on the tanker version
