Will fluval ever make a glass intake/outlet option I was looking at getting an fx4 but the current pipes and nozzles are too ugly

I have a question. I set up a turtle fish tank and i want to keep the water level at arround 30-40% of the total volume. I am wondering if the FX2 can filter that or if there might be problems due to the significant lowered water level and the telescopic intake? Is the telescopic intake air locked (i mean the part of the intake where the two different pipes are connected)? Because that could cause a lot of power loss if it is not. Thanks in advance.

I want to fit a FX4 into my modified shaker cabinet 66Gal set up but I cant seem to find the diameter of both the top housing lid and the circular bottom of the filter not including the pump. Can you by any chance forward those measurements please . Appreciate it if you could.
Some may say using a FX4 on this size tank is overkill but it will be pumping through a UV steriliser, a polishing after filter and you can turn the out flow down 50%
