And the Sailor Campaign continues, as Strider Squadron continues to hunt down the Alicorn. Amidst this intense battle, we now know Captain Matias Torres was captain of the Tanager, a battleship that was sunk in Ace Combat 04 by Mobius One along with the rest of the Aegir fleet.
And various Osean hands continue to be dirty with the reveal of a high ranking traitor, responsible for hiring mercenary pilots to try and kill Trigger. Not only was the traitor unsuccessful, they couldn't even gather the support from their country heads regarding Trigger and aces in general. Their future is over.
But the Alicorn has proven to be even more deadly than ever, utilizing the same Cormorant drones the Scinfaxi-class submarine - the Hrimfaxi - of Ace Combat 5 used, in order to guide their railgun fired nuclear tipped shells from beyond the horizon, effectively turning the Alicorn into a mobile Stonehenge weapons base. Betraying their own country of Erusea, the Alicorn has become a vessel of very elite terrorists possessing nuclear weapons with no regard to any country. The worst possible situation.
