Saying something straight forward isn’t a problem in the Netherlands, it’s in our culture. These guys think from a English viewpoint where they rather avoid painful issues and be polite.

The Brits said zero about this very good match. Typical. Only Gomez gave it 5 seconds

Aren’t they gonna talk about how the Reff blew the whistle while Germany was on the attack ?

At half time Koeman found out de Ligt has become a Man United player.

Ive got to say Craig had a good level headed opinion today, respect to him.

The fact that Koeman says this about de Ligt is a cultural preference. In England or the US you would omit saying/confirming he played bad, in the Netherlands we consider that hypocrite. We rather call it what it is and move on. It isn't that harsh as it's being interpreted here.

As a matter of fact, these pundits judge de Ligt way more haha.

The Netherlands beat Bosnia and then drew with Germany today, one of the best footballing nations in the world. Why are they making this about one player? 🤦‍♂️

If Koeman's two lines were harsh, what would you call the 15 minute segment shown here?

When are people going to discuss about Kimmich scoring right in front of Van Dijk unmarked.🤨🤨

The fact that craig didn’t mention de ligt move to juve is mind blowing

I rather hear about the very talented Musiala than de ligt.

Look at the slow motion of the second goal, de ligt went in intending to block off the shot which would have been successful had the striker not squared it to his roght last minute, that split second change from shooting to passing side way would have been tough for any defender to react to, especially if he had already slid in to block off what was 99% intended for a shot.

You can just tell he's been training with casemiro 😅

I saw the goals by Germany; I wouldn't say the fault is 100% on De Ligt. The right back and the midfield made mistakes that led to the goal. Defending is a team effort.

Look at Di Lorenzo for Italy, he's back to back to back to back to back to back to back and he STILL starts lol

I like De Ligt, he is a very passionate player who sometimes over-commits and this can lead to errors. De Ligt needs to calm down and focus more on intelligent defending rather than the Italian full-on defense

De Ligt is overrated. He is the Dutch Micah Richards a young defender that emerges and becomes an established starter from a very young age, so people assumed they will improve with age and become world class, but as they mature they are not that special.

Stevie kept quiet about Liverpool's Dutch coach taking off Quansah at half time, publicly stating he lost too many personal battles.

The same Steve Nicol came at Jadon Sancho when the whole saga started last year with Ten Hag. And now Steve is saying he would have stood his ground… yet he blamed Sancho for standing his ground, the hypocrisy is real, smh
