This is one of the most helpful golf instructional videos I have ever watched. Gave me a chipping game after more than 20 years. Watched it multiple times since, just as a refresher. Thanks!

I was following DJ at LIV golf Tucson on the final round. On hole 17 the par 5 he left himself like 50 yards, he hit a /low mid spinner that hit pin high, bounced 1 time, checked on the 2nd bounce, and spun back 1ft. He took a longer lazy looking swing, and i wondered how tf he did it. This is pretty much how he did it. Lol. Great video 🔥🔥🔥

Love these. Parker is a master coach in explaining the technique and the shot. Looking forward to see more.

Might I humbly add that it's imperative to keep those grooves clean. I always carry a tiny retractable brush in my pocket and use every time grit appears on the face. Wedges will last a lot longer too! Cheers and thanks for the excellent vid - Dave

Great information in this video, I listen to the podcast but being able to see this instruction is much more helpful for me. Thanks.

I watched a video of Tiger explaining how he hits it. He hoods the face (extension of his left wrist) and tries to hit a hook. But, instead of swinging to the left as this gentleman is doing, Tiger swings out more to the right or down the line to make the ball come out straight vs yanking it left with the hooded face. Tiger says he never wants his pitches or chips to have "right" spin (caused by swinging left) on them when they land. It worked fairly well for the science of putting the most spin on a ball results from the face making contact at 45 degrees so a 56 degree sand wedge would have to be delofted for maximum spin. What am I missing?

I'd sure like to see Parker demonstrate these shots. You get the right image.

It would be nice to know what club you suggest using for the low spinner.

What club were you using?
How far was your target?

Hi. How is this low spinner shot different than the stock shot ? What do you do differently ? Thanks !

I may be dumb but I keep watching this one and the standard pitch one and I cannot tell the difference between the two shots. Can SGC or someone please help me understand the differences? Thanks in advance!

what’s your club for this video? Loft and bounce? How close or far from green is the formula for success?

What is it that puts the club inside, the pronation of the left forearm or the flexion of the left wrist? Whichever it is, it has to be undone to get the shaft back to vertical.

On the acceleration - a good spinner feels like it comes off dead so you need more energy than you normally do.

It's more handsy and aggressive release with loose wrists. You want to feel as though that clubhead is getting to the ball before the hands. Makes no sense really but it happens. Pratice it. Mean shot when you pull it off

Hey man absolutely loving these videos- but I have one little tip for your Audio- if you or whoever is doing your processing will eq a bit of the mids and high mids on your voice- it will make the video hit the listeners ears even better:) great videos I can’t wait to get out and try these tomorrow before the masters stuff on Thursday haha

What about weight distribution ? 70/30 ? or closer to a stock shot ?

How about: open face, shaft lean, hit down on the ball? Open face adds loft (to increase spin), shaft lean brings flight down (to lower launch), and hitting down increases spin loft (to spin even more). There, the physics make sense now.
